About Me
Hello. My name is Sabrina Stokes.
I look forward to introducing myself in person. Here is a little about me until then.
I have been working to create change on both individual and systemic levels for children, young people, adults, families and communities for the past twenty years. My experience has spanned a wide range of sectors and environments, including government, education, community services, private business, vocational and tertiary institutions, and both small and large organisations.
I enjoy and thrive from variety and diversity. I feel honoured to be part of children, young people, adults and families’ lives, holding space and offering strategies during times that are challenging and transitional. I am passionate and committed to supporting professionals who are part of positive change for children, families and communities.
I thoroughly enjoy learning and combining new and old skills and knowledge to keep enhancing my practice. I have a Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor of Social Science, Graduate Diploma in Education – Early Years and Training and Assessment qualifications. I believe the combination of these knowledge bases and skills provides the foundation for a strong and holistic approach to my practice.
My practice is relationship based, trauma informed, respectful and nurturing. I enjoy ensuring that the focus of my practice is creative, with a strong emphasis on connection.
